The Castell Kids Club is supervised by qualified personnel and is open to children from 3 years of age (younger children upon request) from Wednesday to Sunday 12:15 - 21:00.
During high season (Swiss holidays), the kindergarten is open daily.
They WILL LOVE IT
Children love the Castell! And all the little extras ensure relaxation and quality time for parents, too. Family rooms at family prices, professionally supervised kindergarten/day care centre, hotel park with a large playground in the summer and an ice rink in winter, play rooms and “casino”, outdoor family and children's programme, etc... The only way parents can really unwind is when a hotel offers a family-friendly infrastructure and comprehensive, professional childcare. We know that. That's why we make sure that this is exactly what our guests will find here...
ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
We offer a special weekly programme for children: each day comes with a new highlight for the kids. We choose the activities including topics such as nature, exercise, relaxation, and art.
Admission for children:
Children from 6 to 12 years can visit the hamam daily until 15.00, accompanied by an adult.
HAMAM FOR KIDS
Once a week from 12:00 to 14:00, children have the opportunity, to discover the hamam in a child-friendly and playful manner under expert guidance. The children learn in an entertaining way about the historical background of the millennia-old bathing culture.
Mutual back-scrubbing, playing in the gold bath with swimming noodles and "find the fish" –diving games are also a part of the visit before our little guests settle down again like with the help of relaxation exercises at the end of their hamam-visit.
Massage for children
Our health professionals offer a children's massage à 20 minutes for CHF 50.00. It is a relaxing and gentle massage particularly suited for children.
PIZZA BAKING IN THE HOTEL KITCHEN
Kids love looking behind the scenes. In the large hotel kitchen, they can prepare and bake their own pizza, which they can eat at the children's table afterward.
Together with the kindergarten teacher, the kids go on a journey of discovery. There are many pieces of art to admire and explore on each floor, after all. The participating children talk and learn about the art they see in the hallways. Afterward, they can take up brushes and paint themselves. In summer, we organize short trips (e.g. a visit to the circus) and walks in the beautiful Engadine countryside.
